Earning her masters degree from Our Lady of the Lake, University in Social work, White participates at Holy Redeemer in administration. White’s husband, Tom White, was Deacon for 23 years when Holy Redeemer was part of a national movement for black Catholic Churches.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eWhite talks about how father Kevin has been instrumental in the parish and its other two churches, Saint Paul and Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Holy Redeemer established in 1901, also participates in a food pantry and hot meals to the needy and has its own vegetable garden.
